Data Loggers monitor the environment
Environmental monitoring is becoming increasingly important. everywhere across the globe, rainfall patters are changing, air quality is being challenged and estuarine water quality is struggling with encroaching urbanisation.
Data loggers can provide data critical to assist. Data Acquisition Networks (DAN) provides a range of data logegrs that transmit data over the mobile phone or satellite networks to a website where it can be viewed by those with a need to use the data. DAN data loggers poll inputs 19 times each second and then report to the website at duty intervals determined by the owner. At each reporting period DAN data loggers provide a maximum, minimum and an average for each input being monitored.
Data that is routinely and continuously collected and transmitted to a point where it can be used immediately provides the foundation for environmental plans to be developed.
