Data Acquisition Networks this month announce the release of new wireless data loggers with a capability to transmit data up to 2 kilometres.

A wireless transmitter can be placed at the point where data is being collected whilst a receiver, which has the capability to receive data from a number of transmission devices, can be placed at a point where either data is downloaded into a PC or where a DAN DM01 can take the data and transmit it to a secure website either over the GPRS or satellite networks.
